Designers, Illustrators, I need an advice!

Hi, buddies!

I'm planning to buy a graphics or drawing tablet soon, on my Christmas' vacations (which I will be spending in the U.S. from December 13th to the 28th) However, the truth is that I know very little about them, I don't know which are the best trademarks or which functions should a decent drawing tablet have. I don't expect to buy the best on the market, but I'm certainly forward to invest on a good one that can help me, above all, on digital illustration. Can anybody give me an advice? I would appreciate that A LOT!
